David Thorpe

David Thorpe joined Silverwest in 2016. Dave is responsible for overseeing Silverwest’s new developments and renovation projects at the company’s various hotel properties. Prior to joining Silverwest, Dave most recently served as vice president of Shaw Construction in Denver. His career also includes positions as Development Executive overseeing a large urban mixed-use project in Denver, and Vice President of Development for Vail Resorts Development Company. At Vail Resorts, Dave oversaw the redevelopment of Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club and worked on the development of The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a 500,000-square-foot mixed-use development and luxury hotel. He also provided technical construction support services to RockResorts for renovations and hotel capital expenditure projects. Dave received a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
