Bio

David E. Kreinest is the Managing Director of Project Management's FUSION and Critical Environments GKN Practice Leader.  In April 2011 Mr. Kreinest assumed the leadership role of CBRE's FUSION program. FUSION is a strategic sourcing initiative designed to leverage the Global scale of CBRE's PJM platform through a strategic partnering of suppliers and service companies supporting the Project Management platform globally.

The purpose of the GKN Platform is to provide CBRE a network for international collaboration of subject matter experts (SME) around specific vertical markets relative to Project Management Services. This platform supports pursuits, development of operational best practices and project staffing. The current GKN verticals include Critical Environments, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality/Leisure and Sustainability.

Prior to his new role Mr. Kreinest managed Florida Project Management platform delivery statewide.  Mr. Kreinest has over 26 years experience in construction and development management for CBRE.  He has managed construction and development projects for all real estate types including Industrial, Retail, Office and Critical Environments.  Mr. Kreinest coordinated with the LMA (Local Market Area) leaders to provide assistance in construction activity for managed assets, tenant representation deals and owners of real estate.  Within the State there are over 75 Project managers most of which are assigned to corporate accounts for America's Fortune 500 corporations such as Bank of America, American Express, Florida Power and Light, Fifth/Third Bank, Deutsche Bank etc.  Other responsibilities included supporting the six Local Market Area (LMA) Managing Directors in Florida with Project Management in Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.

Prior to managing the Florida Project Management team, Mr. Kreinest was the VP of Critical Facilities nationally for Trammell Crow Company. In this role Mr. Kreinest managed the construction and operations of over 100 Data centers including Tier 1-IV systems for Bank of America, EDS, E*Trade Financial, American Express and other known firms. Trammell Crow Company managed more than 15 million feet of raised floor environment under Mr. Kreinest.

Other significant responsibilities were the management of all Commissioning requirements for the Atlas V Launch complex at Cape Canaveral Florida.  Mr. Kreinest was responsible for managing over 20 engineers to draft, execute and test all functions of the Atlas V launch complex which consisted of:  Vehicle Assembly Building, Mobil Launch Pad, and the Atlas Rocket.  This was a joint project sponsored by NASA, USAF and Lockheed Martin Astronautics.  The project culminated in the successful launch of the Atlas rocket in August 2002.
