Bio
David joined Richardson in 1986, became an officer in 1989, and was elected President and CEO as of April 2015. For the previous 28 years, his primary role has been asset management, which includes overseeing the Company's investment in each of his assigned properties from initial underwriting, investment approval and LLC formation, through financing, construction and project management, lease-up, and property management for on-going operations, as well as refinancing and/or property sales. David graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986 (Masters of Business Administration) and 1981 (Bachelors of Science in Business Administration). He has a real estate broker's license in North Carolina. Prior to joining Richardson and before MBA school, David was a banking officer with Wachovia Bank and Trust in the Greensboro office for 3 years.
