David Hayum

Mr. Hayum joined Meridian in 1999 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the company's New York City headquarters. He is responsible for the origination and placement of loans across a broad array of property types, including multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, and assisted living facilities throughout the United States, with a focus on the New York and Florida markets. Mr. Hayum's experience includes acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financing.

Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Hayum spent four years doing humanitarian work in the Ukraine.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Hayum has negotiated more than $5.75 billion in financing consisting of over 1,150 loans. Notable financing transactions include New York properties The Uniqlo store in Soho, the Stewart Hotel and Refinery Hotel, Century 21 headquarters, and an assemblage adjacent to Rockefeller Center.
