David Elgart

David Elgart is a managing director with Benefit Street Partners in our New York office, where he focuses on commercial real estate. Prior to joining BSP in 2015, Mr. Elgart was a director at Natixis Real Estate Finance, where he worked as a CMBS and balance sheet loan originator and underwriter. While at Natixis, Mr. Elgart's team was responsible for over $3 billion in total CRE originations. Prior to joining Natixis, Mr. Elgart worked on loan origination teams at Citadel Securities and Credit Suisse. Mr. Elgart received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
