David Della Porta

Prior to forming CornerstoneTracy, David Della Porta managed Cornerstone Communities, a firm he founded in 1996. Over a 20-year period the company grew to become the largest developer of multi-family housing in the Philadelphia suburbs. Cornerstone Communities has been noted for leadership in "Smart Growth" and "Green" design. The company has won numerous Community of the Year awards and earned Builder of the Year honors from the Main Line Builders Association in 2006 and 2008. In addition to rental communities, Cornerstone developed and sold over 1,000 single family homes and building lots throughout the Delaware Valley. From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Della Porta was a principal of a major regional home building company where he oversaw the acquisition, development and sale of more 3,000 homes in the Philadelphia suburbs. Mr. Della Porta is a past president of the Main Line Builders Association and a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and NAHB.
