David Broome

David Broome serves as Managing Director for the GID Industrial Platform. David is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and execution of industrial investments. Prior to joining GID, David served as Managing Director of Industrial Investments at Colony Capital Inc. where he helped direct investment decisions and manage a team of acquisition professionals in growing the Colony Industrial Fund to over 60 million square feet. Prior to joining Colony Capital in 2015, David was a member of the management team at Cobalt Capital Partners, L. P. where he was Director of Investments for nearly ten years. David has been active in the commercial real estate industry for nearly 30 years and also worked at Cushman & Wakefield and L&B Realty Advisors in Dallas, TX. David received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas, is a licensed real estate salesperson, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) National Forums.
