Bio
As Director of Asset Management, David utilizes his strategy and investment experience to align portfolio composition and asset selection criteria to meet client goals, and then drive operational and financial performance to achieve those goals. David has created and executed asset and portfolio strategies related to roughly $16B of properties – including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial – and managed more than $25B of investment volume through M&A, portfolio, and individual asset transactions.
David began his career as a framing carpenter and remodeler in the Pacific Northwest. Since then, over the last 25 years, he has worked in commercial property development, affordable housing finance, CMBS syndication, public and private investment funds, M&A, and asset management – with companies such as Blackstone, Westport Capital, Corio/Klepierre (Simon Property Group), Mack Real Estate, AIG, and Ingka Investments (IKEA) – across all 50 US States, Puerto Rico, and 14 European countries.
David holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School.
