Darin Gross is a founder and principal of the VHG CRE Group at Marcus & Millichap. With over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Darin specializes in single-tenant net-leased and multi-tenant investment sales, sale-leaseback transactions, and portfolio dispositions. The VHG CRE Group has a proven track record, with more than $1.01 billion in transactions closed nationwide. Earlier in his career, Darin was selected from a pool of over 900 applicants to participate as one of 30 fellows in the yearlong Challenge Detroit program, where he served as a Systems Architect for Marketplace Homes and as a consultant for local non-profits in the Detroit area. Majoring in Finance, Darin developed a strong interest in investments and entrepreneurship early on. His internship with Detroit Venture Partners introduced him to the startup world, which inspired him to launch his own company, Booklify.com—a peer-to-peer platform that enabled college students to buy and sell textbooks directly, avoiding traditional bookstore markups. Darin is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Broad College of Business. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
