Danielle Willis joined National Church Residences in June 2013 as the Vice President of Human Resources. She was promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources in September 2016. In her role with the organization, Willis partners with organizational leaders to achieve strategic goals through engagement with 3,400 employees throughout the organization. She drives to create and sustain a work experience for the staff that embodies the values of National Church Residences. Her responsibilities include human resources, payroll, education and career development and office services. Before joining National Church Residences, Willis spent 10 years working for Economy Lodging Hospitality Company in Columbus, Ohio, serving as the company’s Vice President of Human Resources from 2009 to 2013. In that role Willis was a strategic business partner responsible for the management of human capital totaling approximately 3,800 employees with an annual payroll of $95 million at 175 locations in 37 states. She was responsible for the overseeing of corporate and field-based Human Resources, Benefits, HRIS functionality and HR-competency based training efforts for all employees. Prior to that, Willis was the Director of Human Resources at Med Bill Corp in Holt, Michigan, from 2000 to 2003 and the City Recruiter for the City of Lansing (Michigan) from 1998 to 2000. Willis obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wright State University and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University. Willis resides in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
