Daniel T. Ryan

Current responsibilities Dan Ryan has overall responsibility in the Central U.S for JLL's services which include Brokerage, Property Management, Project and Development Services, Retail and Capital Markets. Dan is accountable for the firms operations and business results in the Central Region as well as developing and implementing strategic initiatives. He also maintains and develops key client relationships with owners and occupiers of real estate.

ExperiencePrior to his current position, Dan was the Midwest/Southeast Regional Director overseeing the Tenant Representation and Agency Leasing and Management business lines. Dan also served as Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Leasing and Management business.

Prior to his COO position, Dan worked for over nine years in the firm's corporate Tenant Representation group as a broker and was also responsible for the management of transaction teams in Chicago and Minneapolis.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Dan worked for IBM for nine years where he held several sales and management positions. Dan also spent two years with XL Datacomp, a division of Storage Technology Corporation, as Director of Marketing Programs and Assistant to the President.

Education and affiliationsDan earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dan is a licensed Illinois real estate broker, a member of the Economic Club and the Executive's Club of Chicago where he serves as the co-chairman of the Real Estate Committee. Dan served as co-chairman of the Martin Luther King Remembrance Dinner Scholarship Committee, and is on the board of directors of The Cara Program and the Chicago British American Business Council. In 2010, Dan received the City of Hope Spirit of Life Award from the Chicago Construction and Real Estate Council.
