Bio
As Director of Real Estate Development, Dan is responsible for sourcing and financing development opportunities in Seattle and Portland. Dan positions Mortenson as a firm that can provide site identification, tenant procurement, financial feasibility, debt and equity financing, government entitlements, and design and construction oversight for our customers across all product types. With 15 years of industry experience, Dan specializes in the development of multi-family, mixed-use and healthcare projects.
Dan grew up in Nebraska and remains an avid Cornhusker football fan. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in civil engineering, and his MBA in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He lives in Bothell, Washington with his wife Erin and their children Marcus, Emmett, Isla and Elliette.
