Bio

Dan Estes is a member of CBRE's Advisory & Transaction Services group, specializing in tenant representation for companies ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 100 corporations. He works with his clients to develop customized real estate solutions that deliver cost savings through workplace strategy implementation, market expertise, and strategic negotiation. Dan's diverse experience with a wide variety of tenants, landlords and asset types in Los Angeles and beyond allow him to bring a unique perspective to his assignments.

Prior to joining CBRE, Dan served as Transaction Manager for JLL, where he supported large corporate occupiers in the management of national and global real estate portfolios. In this role, he completed over 1.5 million square feet of transactions in 32 states and was able to uncover several million dollars in opportunities for his clients.

Dan began his professional career in public accounting, as a consultant to IPO-stage companies. Moving into commercial real estate, Dan leveraged this expertise as a Senior Financial Analyst , where he underwrote approximately $1.5 billion in gross lease consideration. Dan continues to leverage this background as he engineers transactions that benefit his clients on a cash and GAAP basis. Dan is also the local subject matter expert on FASB's upcoming lease accounting changes.
