Bio
Dan is Vice President of the Debt & Structured Finance division of CBRE's Capital Markets Group based in Cleveland, OH. Representing a range of clients from institutional real estate funds to local private capital investors, Dan specializes in advising each client on financing solutions for all commercial property types both locally and throughout the nation.
By leveraging CBRE's national platform, Dan and his partners at CBRE have formed several long-standing relationships with a variety of life insurance companies, banks, debt funds, GSEs (Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae), and securitized lenders (CMBS). These relationships allow them to create an optimal capital structure for their clients' investments while providing flexibility as well as a superior cost of capital.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2017, Dan worked in commercial banking for both MB Financial Bank, N.A. and Citizens Financial Group, N.A. where he was responsible for underwriting and originating a variety of debt instruments including construction loans, bridge loans, and term loans on behalf of various sponsor types. He began his career working for Milwaukee-based M&I Institutional Real Estate Group underwriting construction and multifamily agency loans across the U.S.
Over the past 12 years, Dan has successfully played a key role in the origination, underwriting, and closing of debt transactions valued in excess of $1 billion.
Dan holds a B.S. from Marquette University with a double major in real estate and finance.
