Biography
Dan joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2018 as Executive Managing Director. Dan focuses on advising institutional clients in the disposition of office assets in Chicago and other midwestern markets.
With over 21 years of commercial real estate experience as both a principal investor and advisor to institutional investors, Dan has unique and strategic insight into office investment transactions. Throughout his career, Mr. Deuter has been directly involved in over $10.0 billion of commercial real estate transactions throughout the country.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Dan was part of CBRE's Capital Markets - Institutional Properties group based in the firm's Chicago office where he specialized in office investment sales throughout the greater Chicago area and the broader Midwest.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Deuter worked for 12 years with Pearlmark Real Estate Partners (formerly Transwestern Investment Company) where he was responsible for originating, negotiating, and closing value-add equity and high-yield debt real estate investments for various private equity investment vehicles. Prior to joining Pearlmark, Mr. Deuter worked at Arthur Andersen where, over the course of three years, he was responsible for a wide range of real estate valuation and consulting projects, specializing in the valuation of income-producing properties for investment advisory clients.
