Bio
Mr. Belldegrun is the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Breakthrough Properties responsible for overseeing all investment and operational activities. Prior to co-founding Breakthrough, he spent eight years at Tishman Speyer, where he was a Senior Director on the Acquisitions and Development team in the Bay Area and New York regions. As part of the team, Mr. Belldegrun completed over $575M of transactions and managed the entitlement, design, and financing of several large-scale development projects in San Francisco. Having grown up in the Bellco Capital family business, with a deep understanding of biotech’s tremendous growth potential, Mr. Belldegrun envisioned and executed the Breakthrough partnership. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
