Dan Baker began his career in the Senior Housing industry by first working for an operator in 2007 where he gained invaluable hands-on experience by serving in a variety of roles onsite at communities. Since then, he has participated in the execution and origination of over $4 billion worth of Senior Housing and Skilled Nursing nationwide and in Canada. His transaction experience encompasses investment sales, debt and equity placements, joint venture formation, and operational consulting. His deal experience includes large institutional portfolios and small, single assets.

Prior to joining JLL, Dan was a Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s National Senior Housing Capital Markets Group. Dan has also worked on the National Senior Housing teams at Avison Young and CBRE.

Dan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.
