Area of ExpertiseMr. Curt D. Scheve specializes in consulting, sales and leasing of commercial properties in the East San Francisco Bay Area with a special emphasis along the North I-680 and Highway 4 Corridors.  He has successfully advised many property owners on acquisitions for development and investment, a process that can include proper site acquisition, building design and financing.  In addition, Mr. Scheve has assisted a multitude of owners of small to medium sized businesses acquire buildings and properties to accommodate their local operations.  Since joining Colliers International in early 2000, he has consistently been one of the top commercial brokers in the Walnut Creek office, having completed 500 lease and sale transactions representing an aggregate value of approximately $500,000,000. Business and Educational BackgroundPrior to joining Colliers International in April 2000, Mr. Scheve was a Senior Vice President at Grubb & Ellis in Hayward, California and has been a top performer in the commercial real estate industry since 1988.  Before entering commercial real estate, he worked several successful years as a financial consultant with Shearson Lehman Brothers/American Express, also in Walnut Creek, California.College education includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California.  Current and past affiliations include California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Member License National Association of Securities Dealers, Series 7 Securities License New York Stock Exchange, California Polytechnic State University Alumni Association, and Boy Scouts of America Troop 212 of Moraga California, Eagle Scout Alumni.
