Cristina Baldim

Cristina Baldim has been with Kawa Capital since 2010, leading investment research, origination, analysis, and execution for the hedge fund as well as private co-investment (“club”) deals. Cristina is also responsible for building out of the investment analyst team. Cristina’s background includes over 20 years of institutional experience in asset management and investment banking. Prior to Kawa Capital, she worked at Citigroup Venture Capital International from 2001 to 2007, dedicated to emerging markets private equity, venture capital and mezzanine investments. While at Citigroup, Cristina closed, monitored, and/or exited investments representing over $500 million in invested capital in various industries. Earlier in her career, Cristina worked in investment banking for JPMorgan Chase from 1998 to 2001, in Corporate Banking and M&A for Banco Société Générale S.A. from 1997 to 1998, and for BankBoston S.A. from 1995 to 1997. Cristina has a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo, Brazil, and has served on the Board of various companies.
