Craige Shelton

We recently caught up with Craige Shelton, Senior Project Manager, to chat about his role at HHHunt Communities. 1. As a Senior Project Manager, what does your average day look like? In the world of development, it seems hard to have an average day. I oversee the team that manages all our development projects, which brings a lot of variety to my routine. On any given day, I may be planning amenities in our new communities such as Wescott and Mosaic, or I may be tending to the concerns of homeowners in our existing communities such as River Mill and Ridgefield Green. I really enjoy being able to work on all facets of our development projects from the initial community planning, to the design and approval process, and all the way through to the completion of construction. 2. What is your favorite part of your job? Far and away, my favorite part of my job is the people that I am blessed to work with on a daily basis. We have a tremendous team, and I am glad that I get to build communities with them. We have many talented people with a passion for building great communities, and it really makes coming work enjoyable. 3. At HHHunt Communities, we believe it’s #HowYouLive that matters. What does this philosophy mean to you? When I think of the statement “It’s how you live that matters,” my first thought is that the mindset you approach life with is really what affects your joy and contentment. The built environments that people choose to call home have a tremendous impact on that mindset, and I want to approach my job in such a way that we are creating the best environments for people to thrive. 4. What are some of the things you are most excited to share with prospective home buyers? We have a lot of really innovative communities currently being developed that have both new ideas for community design and thoughtful home architecture. For example, our clubhouse at Wescott will feature a very contemporary design that will offer the neighborhood a live-work space to utilize as their amenity. 5. What makes HHHunt stand out from other developers? Again, the people that work at HHHunt truly make the difference. We have very talented people working in all phases of the development process from land acquisition all the way through to our internal HOA management team. We all collaborate together very well, and it adds a comprehensive creativity to all of our communities.
