Craig Way

Craig Way, VP, Director of Leasing & Acquisitions, handles all portfolio leasing activities and is involved in all major company decisions. Other direct responsibilities include sourcing new acquisitions, dispositions, supervising tenant improvement work and attaining permits and approvals for pad site developments.

Since arriving at The HB Nitkin Group in 1995, Mr. Way has fostered quality relationships with brokers and tenants alike which have led to consistent portfolio occupancy of over 95%. He has completed leasing transactions with over 300 tenants for a total of over 3 million square feet leased. Much of Mr. Way’s leasing efforts have been concentrated on specialty and downtown projects which HB Nitkin owns. Prior to joining HB Nitkin, Mr. Way spent 10 years at GE Capital working in all facets of their commercial real estate business including new loan and portfolio originations, structured finance, asset management and workouts.

Mr. Way received a B.A. from The University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Way is an active member of the ICSC (co-chair of Connecticut Fairfield division), REFA and NAIOP.
