Craig Swanson serves as Associate Director with Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation in the firm's Austin and San Antonio offices. As a Loan Originator, he provides both debt and equity financing for commercial real estate developers and owners.Craig began his career with Marcus & Millichap in 2005 as an investment sales broker specializing in office and industrial investments. Craig left the firm in 2007 to launch his own brokerage firm, CR Swanson Companies, Inc., where he continued to sell office and industrial properties in the San Antonio and Austin markets and expanded into oil & gas brokerage in the Eagle Ford Shale play in South Texas. He rejoined the firm in May 2013 as the Sales Manager of the Austin and San Antonio offices. In June of 2014, he was promoted to Regional Manager. During his tenure as Regional Manager, the Austin, San Antonio and New Mexico offices Craig grew the local team to over 44 investment sales and financing specialists and closed over 1,200 investment sales and financing transactions totaling over $7 billion.Craig graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness.
