Craig Evans

As Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Mr. Evans is head of the corporate legal department and is responsible for the legal affairs of the organization. As General Counsel, Mr. Evans oversees legal aspects of corporate governance, public company compliance and capital formation activities. Mr. Evans is also responsible for all legal facets of the Company’s acquisitions, including mortgage financing, leasing, asset management and preparation, and review of contracts. Also among Mr. Evans’ responsibilities are representation of the Board of Trustees and its committees, and management of litigation matters.Mr. Evans was appointed Senior Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary in 2015. He has practiced in the areas of corporate and securities law for over 30 years. Prior to joining EPR Properties, Mr. Evans was a partner in the law firms Stinson Leonard Street LLP and Shook Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. Mr. Evans received a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law and received a B.A. in Business Administration from William Jewell College.
