Biography
Corra John joined CBRE in 2022 and currently serves as an Associate Director for the U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets Group in Atlanta, GA. CBRE Healthcare Capital Markets specializes in providing healthcare real estate investors with acquisition, disposition, and recapitalization strategies, assisting healthcare providers with strategic capital planning (including monetization and capital raising efforts), and advising health systems and physician groups in the developer selection process.
Corra is responsible for marketing the team’s assignments, strategy and positioning of offerings, market research and analytical assignments for business development and coordinating the financial underwriting and due diligence processes.
Prior to joining the Healthcare Capital Markets Group, Corra was a Consultant with CBRE’s Financial Consulting Group (FCG) where she was involved in the underwriting of commercial properties marketed for sale throughout the United States using an expert knowledge of both ARGUS Enterprise (AE) and Microsoft Excel to advise property managers and property owners on property-level financial issues and opportunities. During her time with FCG, she conducted comprehensive financial analyses on commercial real estate properties, including cash flow projections, market analysis, and investment returns to assist with client’s strategic decision-making processes, demonstrating complex financial concepts and strategies in an understandable manner. During her tenure with the group, she assisted in the financial structuring and underwriting of more than 30 million square feet across all commercial real estate product types with an aggregate value in excess of $10 billion.
In addition to her experience in capital markets consulting and valuation, Corra was responsible for assisting occupier brokers and provided financial analyses for the negotiations of commercial lease agreements and advised occupiers on occupancy cost strategies for clients including: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Delta, DISH Network, Geico, McCormick & Company, and Truist.
