Corey Martin is a Principal with Avison Young and the Managing Director for the Austin TX office. With over 15 years of experience Corey specializes in investment sales, land acquisition/disposition and development across several asset classes. He represents a diverse range of institutional and private high net worth investors/developers throughout Central Texas and Southern California. Corey's expertise in the full life cycle of commercial assets is not only from a broker perspective, but as an asset manager where he oversaw a commercial real estate portfolio in excess of 4.5M SF of office, industrial and mixed-use properties, including considerable land holdings throughout California, Arizona, Colorado and Texas. His extensive knowledge of site selection, acquisition, entitlement, finance, development, leasing and disposition provides his clients with unparalleled real estate insight and advice from the owner/operator perspective. This combined experience allows him to provide creative strategies that drive value to meet client objectives.

Recent transactions include: institutional investor representation in the acquisition of an Austin, TX portfolio in excess of $120 million; Landlord representation in the lease-up of a 73,200 SF Class A office single tenant build-to-suit with a total consideration of over $51.8M; representation of tenant Airbus DS Communication in a 106,760 SF R&D build-to-suit, with a total consideration of over $21.5M; representation of both buyer and seller in the acquisition/disposition of a nine-building office and flex industrial portfolio totaling 82,137 SF, with a total consideration of over $12.3M.

In the community, Corey is dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations that serve the homeless, veterans and other individuals in need. He is an active member of Bible League, World Vision, Compassion International, Fred Jordan Missions and Far-Reaching Ministries.
