Bio
Clay Pickering oversees all capital market activities and is responsible for underwriting, sourcing, structuring and closing all real estate investments. Since joining TRC, he has completed over $525 million in retail development and acquisition transactions.
Prior to joining TRC, Clay was a Vice President of Originations and Asset Management with the Real Estate Specialties Group at Bank OZK. While at Bank OZK, he was involved in the origination and financing of over $1 billion in commercial real estate projects across the United States.
Clay is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, The Real Estate Council and Urban Land Institute. He is a graduate of TREC’s Associate Leadership Council program and was recognized by Chain Store Age as a Top 10 Under 40 recipient and by GlobeSt Real Estate Forum as an Influencer in Retail Real Estate.
Clay received his bachelor’s degree in business from Baylor University, and resides in Dallas with his wife and 2 kids.
