Bio

Christopher C. Schwart joined Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services in 2009 and represents a number of Manhattan property Owners and retailers alike. Prior to joining C&W, Mr. Schwart was an Associate at Winick Realty Group, having been with the firm since 2006. Mr. Schwart’s current high-profile assignments include representing Invesco in the leasing of 130 Prince Street; representing L3 Capital in the leasing of 72 – 76 Greene Street; and representing Monday Properties In the leasing of 230 Park Avenue.   In the tenant representation area, Mr. Schwart most recently successfully negotiated leases for New York Flagship stores for Lillian August, Dr. Martens, Raul Carrasco and Flexform S.p.A. and remains active with a number of other international, national, regional and local retailers in the Manhattan marketplace. In addition to dry goods retail, Mr. Schwart has assisted restaurant and café groups in securing long term leases such as The Lusardi Group with Peel’s at 325 Bowery. Awards & Associations Mr. Schwart is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and International Council of Shopping Centers. Assignments Mr. Schwart has represented many prominent New York property owners such as Boston Properties, The Blackstone Group, The Solow Building Company, Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, Crown Acquisitions, Avalon Bay Communities, Monday Properties, J.D. Carlyle and Westbrook Partners as well as many other non-institutional and local Landlords.
