Christopher Gitibin, Director, joined Walker & Dunlop in 2015 and provides financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners located nationwide, with a focus on the Southwest region. Throughout his career, his team has closed over $1.3 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Gitibin specializes in multifamily, industrial, and office properties. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Gitibin served as a commercial insurance advisor at Capital West Insurance in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was responsible for business development, management, and long-term client strategy implementation. In addition to holding an insurance license, Mr. Gitibin obtained his real estate salesperson license from the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business. Mr. Gitibin earned a Bachelor of Arts in business communication from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and will also be receiving his MBA from The Thunderbird School of Global Management in December 2018. Beyond the office, Mr. Gitibin is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and Apartment Management Association (AMA). In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, basketball, and kickboxing.
