Chris Tresp specializes in Multifamily Investment and Land Sales in Los Angeles County and throughout Southern California, and is based out of CBRE's West LA office. In his career spanning over 12 years, Chris has developed an intimate knowledge of the vast and complex commercial real estate landscape of the Los Angeles region. His experience, extensive market knowledge, and deep-seeded relationships enable him to provide a distinct advantage to his clients. He is committed to providing the highest level of service and ethical standards.
Mr. Tresp was previously a Director with Newmark Knight Frank specializing in the sale of multifamily properties, land for development, as well as debt and equity placements. His involvement in both sales and financing transactions from 2016-2018 totaled more than $1 billion.
Prior to Newmark Knight Frank, Chris was a Senior Analyst on the CBRE Institutional Multifamily Team in the Beverly Hills office where he was directly associated with over $3 billion in sales and debt and equity financing from 2013 to 2015. From 2010 to 2013, Chris was focused on office tenant representation, and held Associate roles at Kennedy Wilson and UGL Equis.
Mr. Tresp began his career in commercial real estate in 2006 at Transwestern Multi-Housing Capital Advisors in Beverly Hills where he assisted a sales team who was responsible for in excess of $1 billion in sales. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Chris received a Bachelor of Music / Music Business-Management degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
