Chris Paul is a commercial real estate broker with over three decades of experience, successfully completing over 170+ transactions exclusively to the multi-housing industry. He is the Founder and President of LaPaul Partners, a boutique commercial real estate investment advisory firm that specializes in the sale and financing of institutional grade multifamily properties in Texas and throughout the southern United States. The company provides a comprehensive range of capital market services for developers, buyers, owners, and operators of large apartment communities. These services include investment sales, land sales, agency debt origination, mortgage brokerage, structured finance, and joint venture equity for both acquisition and development. Mr. Paul’s client centric approach, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail enable him to provide a level of service that is uncommon in the brokerage industry.

Prior to reopening of LaPaul Partners in the summer of 2024, Mr. Paul was a Senior Partner, and Co-Leader of the Dallas Multifamily Advisors Team at Colliers for a period of four years. The team provided multifamily capital market services across Texas and select markets throughout the Central United States. Before forming LaPaul Partners in 1988, Mr. Paul was a land broker with a Dallas-based boutique brokerage firm. He started his career in project leasing of high-rise office buildings in Downtown Dallas.

Mr. Paul holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University (SMU). He is a licensed real estate broker in both Texas and Florida. In 1993, Mr. Paul was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member Designation (CCIM) by the CCIM Institute and currently is a member of the North Texas Chapter. He is also a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and The SMU Real Estate Alumni Society. Mr. Paul has been a member of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC), which he joined in 1996.
