Chris Lennon

Chris joined NorthPoint Development in November of 2022 to help grow the discretionary funds business. Prior to joining NorthPoint, Chris worked at Cortland where he designed and grew the discretionary funds business from under $500 million to over $5 billion over the course of three years. At Cortland, he was the Portfolio Manager for the firm’s flagship vehicle and had been a member of the Investment Committee since 2019. Chris has over 25 years of experience creating and implementing investment products for institutional investors with a specific focus on commingled fund portfolio management. Prior to joining Cortland, Chris spent over a decade at The Townsend Group where he was a Partner, Portfolio Manager, and member of its Investment Committee. Prior to that, Chris was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Capital International where he designed and managed private market investable indices. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and in Mechanical Engineering from Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania with Magna Cum Laude distinction in each. Chris became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 2001.
