Bio
With over a decade of commercial real estate experience, Chris Forte, Senior Director, is responsible for loan originations out of Walker & Dunlop’s, Bethesda, Maryland office. Mr. Forte specializes in multifamily, manufactured, seniors, student, and affordable housing.
Previously, Mr. Forte served as senior vice president of underwriting operations at Walker & Dunlop, where he led a team that successfully closed over $5.5 billion in multifamily real estate loans. Before joining Walker & Dunlop in 2011, he spent four years at Freddie Mac, where he held roles in Multifamily Underwriting and Multifamily Securitization.
Mr. Forte graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Science in real estate and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
Beyond the company, Mr. Forte is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has two children and lives in Washington, D.C.
