Chris Brown leads the team charged with structuring joint ventures where Hillwood is the capital partner for third-party developers and investors of industrial properties in target markets across the United States and Canada. Since joining Hillwood in April 2014, Chris has been responsible for structuring and closing joint ventures with a total development potential of 24M SF with a total capitalization of $1.85B.
Before joining Hillwood, Chris was Director of Capital Markets for Panattoni Development Company. During his 15-year tenure there, Chris oversaw the equity capitalization and joint ventures of the majority of the firm's industrial, office and retail developments, raising well more than $2.5B from institutional and private investors. His real estate expertise includes debt financing, fund management, portfolio/asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance degree from Texas A&M University.
