Bio
Chester Allen is an Executive Vice President, and member of CBRE|Raleigh's Land Service Group. Chester specializes in sales transactions, handling all aspects of the buyer and seller representation process. Among his key areas of focus are single and multifamily residential, office, retail, and industrial development projects, raw land assemblages and master-planned subdivisions. His clients range from major corporations and institutional landlords including REITs, to private equity firms, to local investor groups and individual families.
Originally from Raleigh, Chester has extensive market knowledge and local relationships, which he leverages for the benefits of his clients. He has over a decade of experience and has completed transactions in virtually every sector of the industry, in multiple states. Prior to coming to CBRE in 2014, Chester was a Senior Vice President at Avison Young, formerly Grubb & Ellis | Thomas Linderman Graham. During his time at Avison Young, he was exposed to all facets of the commercial real estate industry, enabling him to build an in-depth collection of best practices. Over the years, he has served as a consultant for lenders and liaison throughout North Carolina and the Southeast, solidifying his reputation as one of the top industry experts in the state.
Mr. Allen has represented some of the largest land transactions in the Triangle Region and is consistently one of the top producing land brokers in North Carolina. Recently, he was recognized by the Triangle Business Journal's Space Awards for representing the third largest sales transaction in the Triangle during 2015 for the sale of 8341 & 8515 Old Lead Mine Road. Additionally, he has been awarded CBRE|Raleigh's 2015 Top 5 Producer and CBRE|Raleigh's Broker of the Year, as voted on by his peers.
