Charlie Matthews is a Director with Newmark’s Debt and Structured Finance Group in Chicago, where he is responsible for the facilitation and execution of the team’s financing transactions including mezzanine, construction forward loans, and floating and fixed rate permanent debt for multifamily properties. While conveniently located in the heart of Chicago, Charlie is committed to providing comprehensive support for new multifamily financing requests throughout the Midwest.
Prior to joining Newmark in June 2021, Charlie was an Associate at JLL, where he spent three years underwriting multifamily investment sale opportunities. Prior to JLL, he spent four years at Lakeside Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst.
