Bio
Mr. Kellogg is responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the firm, including treasury functions, accounting, investor reporting, risk management, human resources, and the control environment. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Kellogg was Accounting Director and Fund Controller at Colony Capital, where he directed the reporting and back-office operations of multiple distressed debt and commercial real estate funds in excess of $5 billion of assets under management. Mr. Kellogg oversaw investor and co-investor accounting and reporting, supervised daily operations of the funds, and provided senior management with cash flow forecasting and analysis. Prior to joining Colony Capital in 2010, Mr. Kellogg was Vice President and Controller of Big Rock Partners, LLC, a west coast focused real estate opportunity fund manager. Mr. Kellogg managed fund and general partner accounting and reporting, tax matters, human resources, and all control functions at the company. Mr. Kellogg also directed the financial aspects of asset management, including operating and development budgeting. Prior to joining Big Rock Partners in 2007, Mr. Kellogg was a manager in the transaction services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he managed due diligence engagements for financial and strategic acquisitions. Prior to his role in the transaction services practice, Mr. Kellogg was a senior auditor in the financial services practice, where he specialized on private equity, finance and real estate clients. Mr. Kellogg holds a B.S. in Accountancy and Master of Accounting Science, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois (license inactive).
