Chad Dutmers

Chad is the head of acquisitions and fund formation at Cornerstone. With more than 20 years of experience in commercial finance, he provides expertise on strategic planning, financial analysis and business development. Chad is especially excited about Cornerstone’s expansion into rural markets, bringing clinics closer to people in need of care.

Chad holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago with a concentration in Finance. Throughout his career, Chad has worked with both suburban and rural healthcare systems. His previous roles include Managing Director for Lakeside Equity Group and Head of Corporate Banking for National City Bank. While at National City, Chad directed over $150 million in direct and bank qualified financing for regional hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and medical practices. His oversight included 35 branches, 300 employees, and the direction of a $400 million loan portfolio. Chad loves navigating the unique regulatory challenges of the healthcare industry, and has enjoyed the opportunity to work with Cornerstone. He has served on the board of several community organizations, including Munson Healthcare. Chad currently lives in Michigan with his family, and is a proud father of three.
