Bio

As a co-founder of Vista in 1985, Cathie brings a wealth of property management and leasing experience to the Vista team. As the president of Vista Management Company for thirty-three years, she and her property management, leasing, and maintenance staff oversee a portfolio of 1,400,000 square feet of shopping centers, office buildings, and mixed-use development construction values in excess of $ 130,000,000. Her responsibilities include supervising all personnel for Vista’s property management, accounting, and maintenance operations, supervision of all construction management and/or remodeling responsibilities for the Company’s existing management portfolio. Some of the key elements of her work include negotiating, coordination and review of all insurance coverages for each property. In addition, she is responsible for final lease administration issues regarding language, definitions, and legal issues in all tenant leases. The property budgeting process is under the leadership of Cathie with the final review and approvals of each property budget. The establishment and compliance with all of Vista’s Company policies, employee hiring, and overseeing the Vista Group’s administrative team are under her guidance. All of Vista Management’s marketing, business development and landlord relationships are within the direct responsibility of Ms. Mann. A resident of Houston since 1969, she is married and has three adult children and five grandchildren. She is a member if the International Council of Shopping Centers, a past Board member of The Source for Women, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Interface- Samaritan Counseling Centers.q
