Bio

Cathy’s passion for numbers is surpassed only by her intense focus on creating quality financial solutions for customers. Cathy, a 30-year veteran of the financial services and real estate industries and a STORE Capital co-founder, is dedicated to maximizing long-term shareholder value, ensuring a consistent source of capital for growth, and maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency for which she is known.

Cathy started her financial career in 1979 with the international public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen, where she was a senior manager specializing in the real estate industry before exiting in 1990. From there, she parlayed her real estate experience into key positions with two real estate investment trusts before co-founding STORE Capital.

From its inception through February 2010, Cathy was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Spirit Finance Corporation. Before that, Cathy served in various capacities with the innovative real estate company, Franchise Finance Corporation of America (FFCA) and its successor, GE Franchise Finance, including Principal Accounting Officer. She actively participated in FFCA’s real estate limited partnership rollup, securitization transactions and business combinations. Cathy serves as an independent Board and Audit Committee member of Oaktree Real Estate Income Trust, Inc., a non-traded externally managed REIT, formed to invest in income-producing commercial real estate assets and debt, primarily in the office, multifamily and industrial sectors. In 2008, Cathy was awarded CFO of the Year by the Arizona chapter of Financial Executives International. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with high honors from Southern Illinois University and has been a certified public accountant since 1980.
