Bio

Carter Andrus is president of Prologis’ Central Region, where he is responsible for development, acquisitions and operations. The Central Region comprises 190 million square feet across ten markets: Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Austin and San Antonio. Previously, he served as managing director, Capital Deployment, for the Central Region, where he was accountable for the region’s investment strategy. He oversaw a team responsible for sourcing and executing acquisition and development opportunities. Prior to his capital deployment position, Carter was head of Operations for the Central Region, a role in which he was responsible for all leasing and operating metrics, coordinating the region’s disposition strategy, and managing the region’s Operations team. Prior to joining Prologis in 2008, he was a senior vice president at Colliers International in Chicago. Carter is a former president and executive board member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP)/ Chicago Chapter. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Michigan.
