Cal Wessman

Cal Wessman serves as an Executive Vice President within CBRE Chicago's Tenant Representation practice. He specializes in large, complex transactions requiring intricate strategic planning. Through his keen negotiation skills, Cal consistently delivers highly favorable and aggressive lease terms to his clients. Cal's process of focusing first on a client's business objective and then on creating flexibility, while increasing profits, has positioned him as a leader in the Chicago market.

Cal has completed some of Chicago's largest lease transactions including major leases for Motorola Mobility, CDW, Google, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Fifth Third Bank, Healthcare Service Corporation, Bankers Life, The Art Institute of Chicago and RREEF.

Throughout his 27-year career, Cal has earned numerous accolades including: Crain's Chicago Business Office Broker of the Year in 2003, and finalist positions in 2005 and 2007, NAIOP Downtown Office Transaction of the Year Award in 2000 and finalist positions in 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2012 and 2013.

Cal is a member of the Board of Directors for Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and on the Board of Directors for The Center For Enriched Living, a non-profit organization.
