Bio
Bryan Danforth is a managing director for Newmark, specializing in apartment, land and development sales, and 1031 tax deferred-exchanges, including triple-net retail. Over his 11+ years in the business, he has closed over $100 million in sales of apartments and triple-net retail exchanges ranging from 4-plexes to larger syndicated and institutionally-owned apartment complexes.
His dedication to his client's interests, market intelligence, and firm negotiation strategy have impressed his clients. Thanks to his attention to detail and transaction experience he has never been named in a lawsuit, and has never had a dissatisfied client. He is part of a group of 10 agents, most of whom have all worked together with Bryan since 2006. This group has consistently sold more apartment buildings in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties than any other group or company in the area.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Danforth has worked at Marcus & Millichap where he excelled in their renowned training program, quickly earned associate status and was admitted to the National Multi-Housing Group. He then worked for Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Cassidy Turley/DTZ) where he quickly rose through the ranks to be promoted to Vice President.
Mr. Danforth graduated from the University of Southern California with double bachelor's degrees in economics and philosophy. He currently lives in Mountain View where he owns and manages his rental property. Alongside his brokerage career, Bryan has also invested in several apartment buildings throughout the Silicon Valley.
