Bio
Bruce Kahn joined Edgewood Capital in 2020 after six years at Sustainable Insight Capital Management where he was Portfolio Manager and Director of Marketing and Investor Relations. Previously, Bruce was a Senior Manager in the Risk Management Group of Macquarie Global, a Senior Investment Strategist at Deutsche Asset Management and a Private Wealth Manager at Smith Barney. Bruce currently serves as a Trustee and the Chair of the Investment Committee of the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation. He is also on the advisory panel of Mercer Investment Consulting and Management's Sustainable Opportunities Fund. Mr. Kahn earned a PhD in Land Resources from University of Wisconsin, Madison, an MS in Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures from Auburn University, and a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut. He is the recipient of both a J. William Fulbright Scholarship and a National Science Foundation Fellowship in Ecological Economics and served as an Agriculture Extension Agent in the United States Peace Corps in the Republic of Cameroon, (1989-1993). Bruce currently is a Lecturer of Finance, Statistics and Agriculture courses at Columbia University's Earth Institute in the Sustainability Management Program.
