Bio
Bruce is a senior managing director in the San Francisco office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He returned to JLL in 2019 as part of the HFF acquisition and is responsible for debt and equity placement transactions throughout California and major West Coast markets. During his 30-year career, Bruce has sourced debt and equity capital for development, acquisition and recapitalization transactions across all property types.
Before joining HFF in 2006 to open the San Francisco office, Bruce held senior positions between 2000 and 2006 with Cohen Financial, Insignia ESG and JLL. Prior to his advisory and brokerage experience, he spent 10 years as a real estate lender at Scotiabank (1990-1998) and GE Capital (1998-2000), where his responsibilities included handling special asset workouts and structuring debt transactions for institutional real estate clients in Canada and the western United States.
Bruce started his real estate career in 1990 in Toronto, Canada and moved to San Francisco in 1994.
