Bruce Davidson

Mr. Davidson joined RREAF in 2021 as President of Asset Management and has over 30 years of real estate finance and development related experience. He specializes in portfolio / asset management, acquisition, finance and development, management and strategic planning, due diligence and workout / restructuring. He has substantial domestic and international experience with various asset types including hotels, resorts, mixed use projects that have included for rent and for sale residential units. Over his career, he has overseen over $15B of lending and asset management activity.

Prior to joining RREAF, Mr. Davidson served as Executive Managing Director and Head of Asset Management of Mosaic Real Estate Investors and was a member of the investment and executive committees.

During the Global Financial crisis, Mr. Davidson led the workout / restructure and eventual disposition of the $12B Maiden Lane Commercial Real Estate portfolio at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Prior to his experience at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, he built and led the Global Hospitality construction finance business at WestLB AG. In addition, he has served in various senior positions including Director of Real Estate Investments and Capital Markets for a diversified family office, Director at Ackman – Ziff and Managing Director with Alvarez and Marsal’s Hospitality and Leisure Group.

Mr. Davidson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wagner College and attended the Real Estate Finance and Development Certificate Program at Monmouth University. In addition, he has completed professional training in hospitality valuation, real estate matters, finance and management. He previously was member of the Urban Land Institute and has been a speaker at key lodging and real estate conferences.
