Brian Wood

Brian Wood is a Senior Vice President of tenant representation in CBRE's Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Wood's real estate business has focused on tenant representation in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area for the past 15 years. He is considered by his peers to be an expert in this field and has been retained by tenants as an expert on tenant-owner matters and lease negotiations and interpretation.

Mr. Wood has closed more than two hundred million dollars in gross leasing and sale transactions in his career. In addition to his concentration in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, Mr. Wood has represented many corporations and government contractors in the lease and purchase of space throughout the United States. As well as space acquisition, Mr. Wood has been involved in the disposition of several hundred thousand square feet of excess office and industrial space for his clients.

Prior to joining CBRE in 2011, Mr. Wood spent 11 years representing tenants at Newmark Knight Frank, and was a senior member of their government contractor practice. Mr. Wood began his career as a Senior Research Analyst at the CoStar Group, and helped to pioneer the current version of commercial real estate reporting and research currently used throughout the United States.
