Bio
Brian Scott joined CBRE, Inc. in 2004 to lead its Sale/Leaseback Group, which focuses on structuring and executing sale/leaseback transactions for corporate clients. Mr. Scott has over 20 years of real estate experience, primarily in investment sales and corporate finance, and brings a strong background in financial analysis and creative structuring to the solution of corporate real estate objectives.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Scott was a Managing Director with Silvermine Finance, where he executed transactions for corporate clients. Before that, he was an Executive Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle's Capital Markets Group, where he co-led the Corporate Finance Specialty. In over eight years with Jones Lang LaSalle and its predecessor, LaSalle Partners, Mr. Scott completed numerous corporate assignments, including a $68 million headquarters sale/leaseback for Engelhard Corporation, the sale and partial leaseback of Xerox Corporation's 1.4 million square foot Document University, a $118 million credit tenant lease financing for IBM, and the sale of a 500,000 square foot net-leased warehouse for Whirlpool.
