Profile
Brian Linnihan is an Executive Director in the Equity, Debt & Structured Finance practice within Cushman & Wakefield's Atlanta office. He is responsible for arranging debt and equity, including first-trust financing, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and joint venture equity, for all types of commercial real estate assets primarily located throughout the Southeast. In his career, Mr. Linnihan has been involved in well over $6 billion worth of debt and equity transactions.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Linnihan was Senior Vice President of Corporex Capital, LLC, where he oversaw all the debt related activities for the organization, including managing a debt portfolio in excess of $600M. Corporex, based in Cincinnati, OH, is a national developer, manager and investor of hotels and commercial real estate. Prior to Corporex, Mr. Linnihan held various positions of increasing responsibility with The Opus Group, including Vice President of Sales and Finance for Opus South Corporation in Atlanta and Director of Investments & Finance with Opus Properties, L.L.C. (now Founders Properties, L.L.C.) in Minneapolis. During his over eight-year tenure with Opus, Mr. Linnihan underwrote, acquired, disposed and financed commercial real estate assets. Some of Mr. Linnihan's accomplishments with Opus include leading or participating in over $1 billion of acquisitions; 10 joint ventures; and over $1 billion in permanent and construction financing.
