Brian Higdon is a member of Marcus & Millichap's National Healthcare Real Estate Group. More specifically, he specializes in medical office investment sales on behalf of institutional and private investors. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Brian spent 13 years in corporate banking, the majority of which as VP of Healthcare Real Estate with Regions Bank. Brian managed a portfolio of over $500 million and underwrote roughly $600 million in new transactions consisting primarily of on- and off-campus MOB's and medical office REIT's. In addition, he developed a full range of regional and national MOB developer and REIT relationships. In total, Mr. Higdon has been involved in MOB transactions totaling over $1 billion. At Regions, Mr. Higdon and team led Milwaukee based Physician's Realty Trust's (NYSE: DOC) senior credit facility from creation through their 2014 IPO. Several other notable firms he has successfully completed transactions with include Healthcare Trust of America (NYSE: HTA), Johnson Development, Montecito Medical Real Estate, The Sanders Trust and Rendina Healthcare Real Estate. His experience and background in finance enable him to partner with clients to navigate the nuances that make medical office unique.
