Bio

Brett K. Miller is the Chief Executive Officer, President, member of the Board of Directors and a principal of Fiduciary Real Estate Development, Inc. (“FRED”). Brett has been with FRED since 2006 and has served over the years as General Counsel, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Brett is responsible for all operations and strategic vision at FRED. Prior to joining FRED, Brett was an attorney with the law firm of Davis & Kuelthau in Milwaukee for 17 years, where he was a partner, the Chair of the Business Team and a member of the Board of Directors. During his tenure at Davis & Kuelthau, Brett was the primary outside counsel representing FRED on nearly all of its property acquisition and development transactions and he handled hundreds of real estate and business transactions for other clients. Brett holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School and graduated magna cum laude from Central College, Pella, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Brett volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America where he serves as member of the Executive Board and is a past Council President for the Potawatomi Area Council and he has served as an Assistant Scoutmaster in Boy Scout Troop 167. Brett is an Eagle Scout, a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow and has earned the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award. Brett also serves as a volunteer for St. Paul’s United Church of Christ where he is a member of the Personnel Committee and the Pastor Parish Relations Committee, and has served in various other roles including Church Council Member and Past Council President. Brett has also been an active member of the community in Richfield, WI, were he has coached baseball and basketball. Brett and his wife, Susan, reside in Richfield, Wisconsin. They have three adult children.
